Your principal tasks

  • Design and develop customized electrical and electromechanical solutions for milling and EDM (Electrical Discharge Machining) machines
  • Plan and engineer electrical control cabinets, control systems, safety systems, and automation solutions
  • Create electrical schematics, terminal diagrams, bills of materials (BOMs), and technical documentation using SOLIDWORKS Electrical
  • Modify and further develop existing machines according to customer-specific requirements
  • Develop technical concepts and perform electrical engineering design for new customer projects
  • Support the integration of electrical systems into customer machines
  • Work closely with Sales, Project Management, Service, and internal technical departments
  • Coordinate with suppliers and external development partners
  • Support the standardization and continuous improvement of machine options
  • Provide technical support in the implementation of complex customer requirements

Your Profile

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Automation Engineering, or a qualification as a State-Certified Technician (Electrical Engineering/Mechatronics)
  • Professional experience in electrical design/engineering, preferably in the machine tool industry
  • Knowledge of SOLIDWORKS Electrical or EPLAN
  • Experience with electrical schematics, bills of materials, and technical documentation
  • Good knowledge of control systems, drive technology, and automation technology
  • Structured and independent working style
  • Good command of English

Preferred Additional Qualifications

  • PLC programming knowledge, particularly with Fanuc systems
  • Knowledge of CNC controls
  • Experience in commissioning machine tools
  • Knowledge of machine safety standards and CE compliance
  • Experience with fieldbus systems and industrial networks
  • Knowledge of robotics and automation solutions
  • Experience working in an international project environment
